It's hard to play favorites in a sea of beauty however, I feel the need to put the spotlight on Giambattista Valli for the amazing Fall 2014 Couture collection. The collection was chic and elegant; featuring pencil skirts, longer hemlines, flattering color palates of black/white and pastels matched with whimsy and eccentricity; pastel furs, voluminous 'poof' dresses, and sequins. It may seem like my descriptions are all over the place but I guess that's what happens when describing a designer that maintains a couture clientele while appealing to a commercial demographic and simultaneously touching on major fashion trends.

STYLE ICON: Anna Dello Russo
With Couture fashion week at an end, I can't help but feel more excited to catch up on on the street style photos more so then the actual collections. Which brings me to today's style icon Anna Dello Russo. The editor-at-large and creative consultant for Vogue Japan is the queen of street style, making several outfit changes during fashion week, posing for the cameras, and supporting the blogger community from the get-go. What makes ADR an icon in my book is her fearless fashion choices; not only is it apparent that she adores this crazy fashion industry but she walks-the-walk by the clothes/accessories she wears. Here are some of my favorite Anna Dello Russo moments.
